Chiropractic is a primary health-care profession that specialises in the diagnosis, treatment and overall management of conditions that are due to problems with the joints, ligaments, tendons and nerves of the body, particularly those of the spine. Treatment consists of a wide range of manipulative techniques designed to improve the function of the joints, relieving pain and muscle spasm. Chiropractic is an effective form of care for back and neck pain, as well as a range of other conditions including shoulder, leg and arm pain, and sports injuries. You may also see an improvement in some types of asthma, headaches, including migraine, and infant colic. Free advice sessions are available at the clinics upon request.
