Night at the Dogs in aid of Haven

Cork Independent and Curraheen Park have joined forces with Cork businesses to raise funds for ongoing rebuilding in earthquake-stricken Haiti.

The Night at the Dogs will take place on Thursday, 13 October from 7pm at the Cork Greyhound Stadium in Curraheen Park and promises to be a great night out. There’s something for everyone – friends and families, business partners and clients – with great food and wine, good fun and free family entertainment, not to mention a flutter on the dogs in aid of a very good cause.

“We feel very strongly about supporting the Haven charity given that staff here have volunteered in Haiti, and have witnessed first hand their dire need for help. This night out brings everyone together to have a fun night, but remembering those who need our support more than ever now,” explained Jarlath Feeney, Cork Independent.

In order to raise funds for this worth cause, Cork Independent has partnered with a number of local businesses including Westboro Partners, Profile Communications, EazyCork, the Clarion Hotel, B2B Print and B2B Signs.

Sponsors are currently being sought to support the Haven charity, and with a number of brand promotion opportunities on offer as well as a fun night out, getting involved in this event is sure to be a win-win.

“Whether you decide to sponsor a race, make a donation, or buy ticket-only (€10 per person), any support you can provide is greatly appreciated.  You can be certain that every cent raised on the night will go directly to Haven,” explains Julia Lynes, Eazy Cork.
