North Cork Business Alliance (NCBA) was set up to create a forum whereby business people in the North Cork Region would be afforded an opportunity to meet on a regular basis. The vision behind this concept was to enable business people to share knowledge and ideas and ultimately expand business contacts.
The NCBA is a professional networking group that is continuously evolving to meet new demands and expectations of both business people and customers/clients. The group consist of sole traders, small businesses and middle market companies who are dedicated to group endeavours.
To promote and uphold each other’s businesses, to share knowledge and expertise to better serve our customers and to develop and enhance business by exchanging quality referrals.
“We at JW Landscapes have been members of the North Cork Business Alliance since its beginning. Realising the importance of networking the NCBA has afforded us numerous opportunities to meet other businesses in our community. The NCBA is a great way to promote our business. Little did we know when we joined, it would not only give us the start we needed but we would make lifelong friends along the way.” Elaine White, JW Landscapes.
“I am absolutely delighted to be a member of the NCBA Group. It is consistently a source of good quality business referrals provides excellent networking opportunities and hosts great social events.” Michael Thornton, DNG Michael Thornton.
“It is in no small way, thanks to the NCBA, that we as a company have expanded and developed over the last number of years; our latest project being Cork Racecourse, Mallow. Following on a phone call from a fellow member to tell me the above was up for upgrade, we were successful in our tender for the project and will Project Manage the upgrading of Cork Racecourse, Mallow, till completion in 2008. This is only one of many leads given to me over the years, including, some years ago, our first Hotel. Many, many thanks to all members of the group for the support and friendship over the years.” Maura Hunter of MH Designs.
